2 sparkling new five star reviews for Impeding Justice.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fresh New Voice in Crime Fiction, June 29, 2011
This review is from: Impeding Justice (Lorne Simpkins the FEMALE Jack Bauer) (DI Lorne Simpkins thrillers) (Kindle Edition)
This is a great, fast-paced thriller dealing with some hard-hitting subjects. I enjoyed both Lorne and the Unicorn as characters. The Unicorn, especially, is a great, well-drawn villain. The story hits hard and doesn't let up until the end and I look forward to reading the sequel.

This book starts off with a bang. A police officer is shot and killed. His partner has been searching for the killer for 8 years. Now the search becomes personal, can she catch him before it's too late?

This had me gripped from page one. It was a high octane rocket fuel charged explosion of a novel. I couldn't put it down. The characters were believable and I identified with the lead female. It was quite a long story but I didn't feel it flagged in any way. Each time I felt we were coming to some sort of conclusion the story took me up another twisty turny lane!

Thank you Mel for an amazing ride, I am eager to read the next one now!
