How shocking!

Just heard the dreadful story, about a 62 year-old woman being beheaded by a madman in a holdiay resort.

If, I'd written about an incident like that and added it to one of my books, I think the reviewers would have a field day. That wouldn't happen, it's total fabrication, etc.

Well, it just goes to show, you never know what's around the corner!

Exciting Milestone reached.

Wow, this week just keeps getting better.

On Tuesday Lorne and I passed through the 10,000 books sold Milestone.

I'd just like to say a big thank you to all of you who have taken the time to buy, read and review both books.

I'm hoping you'll find Cruel Justice an equally good read if not better than the first two.

I will be running a competition to coincide with the new release that will be announced next week.

Have a great weekend everyone.

What a fab week.

Well this week has been a fabulous week for both books, had the best months sales on Amazon to date.

The new cover for Cruel Justice has been created by the lovely Tania and the final touches and edits are being made ready for uploading in a few weeks.

My beta readers are unanimous in their decision that the third in the series, which is actually the first book featuring Lorne Simpkins, is the best book yet!

Let's hope the readers agree.;-)

What a lovely gesture.

This brought a tear to my eye, someone wrote this little limerick about me and put it on the Uk Kindle forum.

A Comley young lady called Mel
Has "Justice" in titles that sell.
If not to your taste
It seems such a waste
As the books are well written as well.

Bless you Andy! XX

Another great review for Final Justice

4.0 out of 5 stars good read, all the way thru, April 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Final Justice (A Lorne Simpkins thriller) (Kindle Edition)
After reading the first, Impeding Justice, and not being too thrilled about that ending, I see Final Justice is the necessary sequel to satisfy those of us that don't like 'hangers'. This was a good thrill ride, right to the end. The characters are sometimes flawed, always interesting, and I wouldn't mind reading more of Lorne's adventures.

Thank you.

Amanda Hocking

This is great news to inspire all of us Indie writers. The agents and publishers are still willing to take a chance on an unknown! (I jest of course).

There's hope for us all.

Another five star review for Final Justice

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great read!, 20 Mar 2011
This review is from: Final Justice (A Lorne Simpkins thriller) (Kindle Edition)
Final Justice
This book had everything to make it a good read!
It is the second Lorne Simpkins book, by Mel Comley.. Former Detective Inspector Lorne Simpkins had a breakdown and quit the police force, she was trying to get her life back together and cope with what had happened the year before to her daughter at the hands of her nemesis she had also lost a lover and best friend too Then out of the blue a friend from MI6 called and said he knows where her long time nemesis is she has no choice but to join him in the search to find Baldwin,he is one scary guy and one of the baddest characters I've ever read!

Thank you so much, you've made my day.
